WIP Muddy

It's been slow going working on this drawing, but I'm enjoying the mud splatters which is basically just doodling inside the lines.  I've gotten this far and I'm pretty pleased with how it's turning out even though the mud looks stylized.  We'll see what happens when I approach my old nemesis the rear wheel.  I'm using my old standby, 2B pencil but I'm also using the charcoal pencil and a carbon pencil that I bought.  I'm really liking the look of the dark blacks without a shine.

Sherrie,
Good work here... may I suggest leaving it partially unfinished?
This caught my eye immediately. Great stuff.

Amazing drawing with all that detail. I agree it looks great just as it is—partially left unfinished.

What I like the most about this drawing (besides your skillful rendering) is the composition. You have chosen such a wonderful aspect of the bike to draw. Fantastic!!
