In keeping with the Mustang theme, I've also done the gas cap to one. I used to collect these when I was young and dumb. It was the closest I could get. Pretty pathetic, but, back then we were poor and you took what you could get. 2B pencil in my small moleskine.

This is great. I have a whole collection of photos of car logs plates and hood ornaments. Good design and art. Loved your story about the Mustang. In the sixties I wanted a Chevy Nova. Not as sporty as the Mustang but just as out of my reach and yours was.

I think we'll be seeing a few more car type drawings in the future too, somehow.

I'm still waiting for my teenage dream car - MGB Roadster, british racing green, wire wheels, walnut dash...off I go into my dreamworld.

Two really fun posts as well as lovely drawings.

all your recent posts are wonderful Serrie1 And you kept faithfully to the challenge...well done. I love your Mustang drawing as well as the story and had to laugh when I read you're not allowing the kids near it...don't we all become just like our parents! Great work!

Oh cool... When I was in 11th grade, I had an opportunity to by an old mustang convertible for $300..It did need work, but my Dad wouldn't let me... Oh how I'd have loved that car!
Great job!

You always do such beautiful artwork! I really admire your talent--and you made me remember a time when I could tell some of the cars apart--hehe! I actually would have loved a "bug", myself--but didn't learn to drive until I was 30 years old, believe it or not. Late bloomer! :) Keep up the excellent drawings--such a joy to behold!
Always, Rita
